Garden Consulting Services for Your Outdoor Spaces

The Garden Consult is where your journey into garden design begins. 

Your garden consultation will take place at your home and will last one hour. 

During this garden consultation, I will ask you about the type of garden you would like to create and what you wish to grow in your outdoor spaces. 

As we walk your property, I will take measurements and note the orientation of the sun, as well as which part of your home and yard faces south. Additionally, I will observe any structures and trees that may shade your desired garden location. 

With your permission, I will also take some photos. If you decide to have me design a garden for you, these photos will help me with your garden design. 

If the ground is not frozen, we can also examine your soil, and I can provide some recommendations. 

If you would like to have your soil lab tested, I will collect samples and send them to the lab for a $50 fee.

After our meeting, I will follow up with an outline of our consultation and offer suggestions on what could thrive in your yard based on your preferences, soil conditions, and available sunlight.

If you order a lab soil test, I will provide the results and recommendations when the lab returns the results. The turn around time will depend on the lab.
